Instructional Resources in Education (IRED) is a subject area of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. All education majors are required to take at least one technology course. In addition, Computer Literacy certification is available as an add-on to undergraduate degree programs in Education or as a minor in the M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction.
Undergraduates can add Computer Literacy certification by taking IRED 320, IRED 420, and CMPS 200.
Graduates can add certification by taking IRED 420 (G) or IRED 535, IRED 421 (G) or IRED 518, and IRED 560.
